The perfect way to start the Holiday Season. Hot Chocolate and cookies at 6pm in the Frankenmuth River Place. Ceremony starts at 6:30pm. Call for more information. 989-493-9255 More updates will come as I get it all locked down. Save the date for now. Day After Thanksgiving. November 27th.
The celebrations include music by local choirs and the reading of the Christmas Gospel and the singing of Christmas carols. Then the candle-walk procession begins. About 2,000 people are expected to participate in this celebration which begins the festive, joyous holiday season. After singing, we walk a few blocks to the community Christmas tree where the Frankenmuth Jaycees and others light the tree.
