Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness in youth. This 8-hour training gives adults who work with young people the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to adolescents (12-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to appropriate care. This course is appropriate for teachers, school staff, coaches, youth group leaders, parents, and anyone else who works with youth.
