The Kindness Rally is a random act of kindness road rally where teams around the country compete to do as many good deeds as they can in their community within a four-hour time frame.
11:30 AM - 4:00 PM Eastern
Capitol Lawn Capitol at Michigan Avenue Lansing, MI 48915
In this family-friendly competition, teams receive a list of random act of kindness “challenges” that involve helping others and bettering the community. From cleaning up trash and writing thank-you notes to carrying groceries to the car, Teams will work to cross off challenges to see who has done the most good deeds by the end of the event. Teams use social media to showcase their community impact and encourage others, so follow #TheKindnessRally hashtag this year! Teams receive supplies and a list of kindness challenges with different point values assigned to them. The majority of the provided supplies includes craft materials such as paper, markers, tape, and cards. The idea is to get creative with the challenges wherever possible. Each kindness challenge has a hashtag associated with it that is used to mark the challenge as completed when posted on Instagram or Facebook. Remember to use the hashtag for the challenge, along with a hashtag for their specific team and #TheKindnessRally. In 2019 We are trying to raise sponsorships to use a social app to make this processes easier. Join us as JCI chapters and businesses around the globe team up with community members and local organizations to compete in The Kindness Rally on Saturday, September 21st, 2019. Each local event should have a start point and an endpoint for teams to meet before and after the event. With this nonprofit event, we are simply out to spread kindness. All money raised and donated for this event goes directly back into the community through the acts of kindness.
