Event Description
Veteran Americans are special people who have proudly served to protect and defend the United States of America. Their significant contributions and experiences - all the result of skilled military training (tactical, moral/spiritual, group-based) -- present many opportunities and some challenges in several key areas (employment, healthcare, community engagement). This webinar will help library professionals identify Veteran Americans' needs, learn more about Veteran American resources/information, and understand what Veteran American support organizations do (and how to engage them to enable the creation and presentation of Veteran-centric programming/historic preservation projects).
