Event Description
This webinar will educate you about human trafficking and equip you to identify and respond to this terrible human rights abuse. We will define human trafficking, explain how and why it takes place, and discuss the impact on victims. We will end with an overview of the red flags of trafficking and cover proper and effective ways to respond. This training aims to educate, equip, and empower you to make a difference.

Presenter:
Tony Talbott is interim Executive Director and Director of Advocacy at the University of Dayton Human Rights Center. He also directs Abolition Ohio, the Miami Valley Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition, and serves on the Ohio Attorney General’s Human Trafficking Commission where he chairs the Prevention, Education, and Awareness subcommittee. He lectures and researches on human trafficking, human rights, nationalism, Asian politics and global issues.
