Event Description
In the first half of this discussion, we'll go over infographics, which are simply visual representations of complex information done in a way that is easily digestible for your audience. We'll talk about why and when you might want to use them as well as some basics on getting started on creating your own.
Then we'll tackle creating a simplified style guide for your organization. A style guide helps insure that all publications and materials from your organization have a unified look. We'll discuss why that's important and what to include so that it's both useful and easy for other members of the team to understand and implement.
We will end with a round table discussion of your challenges and successes.
Presenter:
Adam Littell has worked in non-profits and marketing for 20 years and is currently the owner of Next Step Services, a small business focused marketing company. In addition to his marketing experience, Adam has been married to a librarian for most of those years, so he has experienced and "volunteered" within the library world and helped apply business marketing concepts non-profit and library goals.
Light refreshments will be provided.
