Many library workers write their own program descriptions and promotions, as well as their own newsletters, and this workshop will provide some quick, formal training on writing. Learn how to communicate what the audience needs to know by effectively stating and positioning pertinent details. Attendees will also learn how to make their content catchy, as well as persuasive, to get desired results.

She has managed thechildren's department newsletter for approximately seven years. Kristin  also used to be a reporter and editor for Record Publishing Co., and has a degree in journalism from Penn State University, as well as a master's in library science from Kent State University.
