On January 9 & 10, 2018 Scotiabank will be hosting a Tabletop Exercise Workshop at their Scarborough location - 1940 Eglinton Ave East. The course is organized and delivered by Vanguard EMC in cooperation with DRI CANADA. The retail price is $945.00 plus tax but is being offered at $710; a one time special discount of 25% due to the short time frame. Exercising the Business Continuity Plan - BCP EXCR (TTX-200)
A two day workshop style course providing the knowledge and confidence to design, conduct and evaluate a tabletop exercise for business continuity and emergency management plans. It is a direct education style workshop has been taken by more than 700 people who consistently recommend it to their colleagues and co-workers. 
The Exercise Design Workshop presents the theory and best practices of exercise design but most importantly, a full 75% of the time is spent doing practical hands-on development activity. The workshop culminates on the second day with the full class participating in a 45 minute tabletop exercise. Once you complete this workshop, you will leave with a great deal of confidence in planning, managing and evaluating BCP and EM exercises.

The workshop includes;
  • Instruction by experienced exercise practitioners, 
  • Comprehensive tabletop exercise project planning tool, 
  • 25 exercise design, control and evaluation templates in MS Excel and MS Word; provided in editable soft copy, 
  • Course binder with all materials including the templates, 
  • Extensive team work focusing on the exercise development process, and 
  • A 45 minute tabletop exercise followed by a de-briefing session.
Participants completing the full 2 days will receive a certificate. The certificate also provides 14 CEU's toward maintenance of professional certification such as CBCP.
