Event Description
Conflict occurs for many reasons and is an inevitable part of unique human beings co-existing.  Unfortunately few people have had formal training in conflict mediation techniques.  As a result, incongruous methods used to manage the conflict can actually inhibit resolution.

This program provides strategies for achieving conflict resolution that strengthens harmony in the relationship rather than damaging it.  Topics to be covered include:

  • Assess the connection between one’s mindset toward the conflict and its outcome;
  • Practice converting the emotional component of disagreement into a rational discussion; and
  • Develop strategies to create a resolution that respects all parties and strengthens the relationship among them.
