9:30 AM - 3:30 PM Eastern Event Description
Join us for a day of adult summer reading ideas. Find out how the Tuscarawas County Public Library System energized their Adult Summer Reading Program through promotion, marketing, prizes, and parties. Additional topics will include specific Summer Reading promotions used by the library as well as challenges faced while forming a program adults enjoy.
Janet Ingram Dwyer, Library Consultant with the State Library of Ohio, will share an overview of the adult manual and materials from the Collaborative Summer Library Program, and of other resources available to librarians planning for their 2018 summer programs. We will have an idea exchange in the afternoon. Bring a SRP-related program to share, or a successful or innovative/interesting idea in adult programming that you have tried at your library. Location
