West Michigan child care leader opening newest school in Grand Ledge, MI in September, 2017
Gilden Woods Early Care and Preschool, located at 1920 Nixon Road, Grand Ledge, MI 48837, will provide infant and toddler care, full- and half-day preschool, Young 5’s, and before- and after-school care for children ages six weeks to twelve years old from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Fun, educational spring break, winter holiday, and summer day camps will also be offered for school aged children. A parent’s favorite feature, the AppleCam – secure internet access, allows enrolled parents to “visit” their child’s classroom anytime during the day from their computer or mobile device.
The school will employ a total of 30 teachers/caregivers and 2 directors, allowing for the enrollment of up to 168 children.
USDA-approved, healthy meals, including daily breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack, will be included in tuition, in addition to weekly fitness, music, technology, and Spanish enrichment programs. Monthly family involvement activities will be offered for parents to get involved and meet their child’s friends and other families.
Gilden Woods Early Care and Preschool will hold a ground breaking ceremony at 1920 Nixon Road, Grand Ledge, MI 48837 on Thursday May 4th at 11:00am. All community members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
