Event Description
The KCM Foundations for Early Childhood Mathematics (Formerly K-EEMC) professional development features content developed by the Erikson Institute, leaders in early childhood education. Participants will learn how to spark children's mathematical learning though developmentally appropriate exploration, discussion and activity using high-impact, evidence-based strategies and children's literature which support the teaching and learning of early mathematics.

The KCM Foundations for Early Childhood Mathematics (Formerly K-EEMC) professional development features content developed by the Erikson Institute, leaders in early childhood education. Participants will learn how to spark children's mathematical learning though developmentally appropriate exploration, discussion and activity using high-impact, evidence-based strategies and children's literature which support the teaching and learning of early mathematics.
The KCM Foundations for Early Childhood Mathematics training includes 8 half-day training sessions that will take place from 11:30am-2:30pm, EST. The dates for each session are as follows:
Session 1-3: August 8, 9 & 10 -Woodlawn Elementary School, Room 101
Session 4: November 6 -Inter-County Energy
Session 5: January 3 -Inter-County Energy
Session 6: March 16 -Inter-County Energy
Session 6, 7 and 8: May 22, 23 and 24 -Inter-County Energy
Session 6, originally scheduled for March 16, has been canceled due to a Boyle County School District calendar change. Sessions 6, 7 and 8 will now meet on May 22, 23, and 24.
Registration will no longer be available for this event after 11:59pm on June 23, 2017.
