Event Description
KMIT is a numeracy-based professional learning experience for new and/or replacement MITs utilizing Do the Math and Assessing Math Concepts intervention programs.  Participants will learn how to diagnostically assess student understanding and how to design or choose instructional tasks to foster student understanding.  Participants will also be supported by current MITs in grant specific intervention programs.

KMIT is a numeracy-based professional learning experience for new and/or replacement MITs utilizing Do the Math and Assessing Math Concepts intervention programs.  Participants will learn how to diagnostically assess student understanding and how to design or choose instructional tasks to foster student understanding.  Participants will also be supported by current MITs in grant specific intervention programs.


KMIT includes 10 days of training spread over 4 sessions. The dates for each session are as follows:


Session 1: July 19, 20 & 21 (9am-4pm, EST)
Session 2: Aug. 24 & 25 (9am-4pm, EST) 
Session 3: Sept. 28 & 29 (9am-4pm, EST) 
Session 4: Oct. 25, 26 & 27 (9am-4pm, EST) 
Session 4: Nov. 13, 14 & 15 (9am-4pm, EST) 
Registration will be available until 11:59pm on May 12, 2017.


Cost (p/person): $1,600
Price includes 10 days of training and all materials.
