Since 2006, Art Aid has been the annual fundraiser for Ledge Craft Lane. Held in the spring, it’s a special evening with silent auctions, a raffle, great food and entertainment.
Local businesses and the artists/artisans at Ledge Craft Lane donate fantastic items to be included in the silent auction packages. The raffle prize this year is a dinner cruise for up to twenty people on board any three of the Michigan Princess's riverboats - The Grand Princess (Grand Ledge), The Riverboat (Lansing), or the Detroit Princess. This cruise is valued at over $800!
While enjoying the food and entertainment, this evening also provides an opportunity to wander through this turn-of-the-century building. Listen to the captivating music of classical guitarist Russell Nebelung, have your picture taken in Ye Old Jail Cell with Officer Mark Sleep and enjoy unique art and crafts. Guests will find pottery, fine arts, jewelry, books and many other hand-crafted items created by local artists and artisans.
The public is welcome. Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance or the night of the event. Bid tickets can be obtained in advance or that evening. Donations will be greatly appreciated.
It’s a fun event and helps Ledge Craft Lane continue to promote the talents of so many and maintain this historic building.
