It‘s “All About That Music!” for the Singers on The Grand! They will perform their 19th concert at the Grand Ledge Opera House, 121 S. Bridge St., Saturday, Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 6, 3:00 p.m..

Under the direction of Libby Brandon and Katy Brandon McDonough, the collaborative ensemble provides a wide array of music performed as solos, duets, small groups and the close harmonies of the ten-vocalist chorus accompanied by the talented six-piece Grand Band.

Classic pop, jazz, and Broadway standards include: choral medleys from “Oliver,“ “Little Shop of Horrors,” and “Swingin’ with the Gershwins;” smaller groups and solos: “All That Jazz,” “All The Things You Are,” “The Girl from Impanema,” “Ain‘t Misbehavin‘,” Billy Joel’s “The Longest Time,” and favorite “Lida Rose“/“Will I Ever Tell You.” Also, as is their tradition, they will perform two sacred pieces, “Shall We Gather at The River,” and “Witness.”

The Singers on The Grand ensemble vocalists include Bill Atkin, Alison Grojean, James Hall, Kathleen Leyrer, Charlie Martin, Dorothea Martin, Katy McDonough, Kelly Sandula-Gruner, Dave Sincox, and Dan Templin. The Grand Band instrumentalists include Bill Holda, Don Farnum, Jim Kasprzak, Pete Murthum, Rick Peterson, and John Ross with guest guitarist Kerri Nicholoff.Tickets for “All About That Music” are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. They are available in Grand Ledge at the Opera House, Ace Hardware, and MacDowell’s Hearth & Floral. The Opera House is a barrier-free facility with convenient parking.
