As companies grow and expand they look for new markets.  For many this includes new business overseas.  The focus of the firm will include making a business plan, creating a marketing campaign, hiring staff, ensuring the appropriate products or services are ready to be delivered but what are the treasury implications that should be considered?

Will there be payables and receivables you need to manage overseas?
What considerations are there for managing the risk of currency exchange with US dollar?
How do you access the local clearing systems overseas?
How do you pick a bank and how will you open, manage, and control accounts with banks that can be thousands of miles away?

A panel of Northwest companies will share their thoughts, experiences, and best practices on the overseas account opening process and the ongoing maintenance associated with those bank accounts.
