Details:The facilitators are Kris Jarboe and Julie Adams.

KMIT is a numeracy-based professional learning experience for new and/or replacement MITs utilizing Number Worlds, Do the Math, or Assessing Math Concepts intervention programs.  Participants will learn how to diagnostically assess student understanding and how to design or choose instructional tasks to foster student understanding.  Participants will also be supported by current MITs in grant specific intervention programs.


KMIT includes 10 days of training spread over 4 sessions. The dates for each session are as follows:

Session 1: Aug. 8, 9 & 10 (9am-4pm, EST) -KY Transportation Cabinet; Room C110
Session 2: Sept. 22 & 23 (9am-4pm, EST) -Northern Kentucky University; Campbell Hall Room 260
Session 3: Nov. 10 & 11 (9am-4pm, EST) -KY Transportation Cabinet; Room C110 Changed to Nov. 14 & 15 (9am-4pm, EST) Northern Kentucky University; Campbell Hall Room 260
Session 4: Dec. 14, 15 & 16 (9am-4pm, EST) -KY Transportation Cabinet; Room TBA

Cost (p/person): $1,600
