Details
This course provides an opportunity for classroom, special education and intervention teachers of students in Grades 3-5 to learn strategies and acquire tools to assess and advance students' mathematical reasoning. Aligned to research-based teaching practices and KAS, topics will include number and operations, place value, fractions and fractions operations, algebraic reasoning and the use of fluency assessments to identify student need. Participants will receive books, activities and instructional materials.

First priority registration for this professional learning experience will be given to intermediate classroom teachers from MAF schools. MITs may also attend to support a participating classroom teacher from their building.
