Event Description
The Oklahoma Travel Industry Association has again partnered with Lt. Governor Todd Lamb to produce the Lt. Governor's Travel & Tourism Summits, which will be held around the state. Each half-day program provides tourism education featuring speakers covering a range of topics on best practices to promote tourism in your region, and includes a townhall-type discussion by the Lt. Governor on tourism development in each of the areas visited around the state.

Lt. Governor Todd Lamb
State of Oklahoma

Oklahoma elected Todd Lamb as Lt. Governor on November 2, 2010. After a term in which Lamb successfully advocated for workers’ compensation reform, higher pay for Oklahoma’s Troopers, and growing Oklahoma’s oil and gas industry, Lamb was reelected in 2014, winning in each of Oklahoma’s 77 counties.  

An Enid native, Lamb has spent many years in public service to his state and nation.

He served in the Keating Administration, and worked on the staff of United States Senator Don Nickles.

Lamb also became a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service where he was elected president of his Secret Service Academy class and graduated with special recognition. His duties included domestic and international protection assignments during the Clinton and George W. Bush administrations. 

In 2004, Lamb was elected to serve in the Oklahoma state Senate. Lamb was re-elected in 2008 and in 2009 became the first Republican Majority Floor Leader in state history.

Lt. Governor Lamb was elected chairman of the National Lt. Governors Association (NLGA) and Chairman of the Republican Lt. Governors Association (RLGA). For five years Lamb has been Vice Chair of the Aerospace States Association (ASA).

Lamb has worked in the private sector as a landman in Oklahoma’s energy industry, and was General Counsel for an energy and wireless company in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Todd Lamb and his wife Monica have been married 21 years and have two children, Griffin and Lauren.


Tina Gilliland, CAE
Tina has over 25 years of successful experience in Oklahoma’s travel and tourism industry ranging from time at the Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau, heading the Bartlesville Chamber’s Convention and Visitors Bureau, and on to lead Oklahoma’s Travel Promotion Division – the marketing and promotions arm of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department (OTRD).

Upon departing OTRD, Tina founded her marketing and management consulting firm, Tina Gilliland & Company.  Strategic planning, leadership development, association management, travel and tourism marketing solutions, community development, event planning and more.  Tina’s firm is currently contracting with the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum handling travel trade and leisure marketing.

Tina received the Certified Association Executive (CAE) professional designation from the American Society of Association Executives in 2004.  Having served on numerous boards throughout her career, Tina currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Travel Industry Association, AAA Oklahoma / South Dakota and is Board President for Cimarron Montessori School. 

Tina is a true Oklahoman with a love for the entire state.  She was born in south central Oklahoma, raised in northwest Oklahoma, earned her bachelor’s degree in central Oklahoma at the University of Central Oklahoma, began her professional career in OKC and on to northeast Oklahoma, and has returned to her roots in northwest Oklahoma to raise her family in Hennessey.  Tina is married to Ronny and they have three children – 10-year old Alyssa and two adult boys, Kyle and Tanner.


Paige Hoster Good, McAfee & Taft
Paige Hoster Good is a trial attorney who represents employers in all phases of labor and employment law, including litigation before state and federal courts, regulatory and administrative agencies, and arbitration panels. In addition to defending lawsuits filed under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act, she also represents clients by defending charges of discrimination investigated by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other state agencies.

Moreover, Paige counsels clients on various employment-related issues, including: preventing wrongful discharge claims; implementing anti-discrimination, anti-harassment and anti-retaliation policies and practices; drafting and auditing employment, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements; defending state wage and hour claims; drug and alcohol testing; employee handbook and policy development; advising on hiring, discipline, and termination decisions; as well as litigation avoidance and compliance with other federal and state laws. A portion of her practice is devoted to general civil and business litigation.

Paige graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in religious studies from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 and with honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2013, where she served as editor-in-chief of theAmerican Indian Law Review, was a member of the National Trial Competition Team and Phi Delta Phi honor society, and was named to the Order of Solicitors. While pursuing her law degree, she served as a legal extern for the Honorable Michael Tupper of the District Court of Cleveland County, worked as a legal intern for the Oklahoma Attorney General Office’s Victims Services and Criminal Appeals Units, and served as Chief Counsel of the OU Legal Clinic.


Charlie Plumb, McAfee & Taft
Charlie Plumb represents management in all phases of employment law and labor relations. Much of his practice is dedicated to counseling employers on compliance with a broad range of state and federal employment laws and regulations and educating management on best practices for avoiding disputes arising from the employer/employee relationship. He also has extensive litigation experience before federal and state courts, regulatory and administrative agencies, and in arbitration matters involving claims of discrimination, wrongful discharge, retaliatory discharge, breach of contract, and constitutional law violations.

As part of his labor practice, Charlie represents unionized employers in collective bargaining negotiations with labor unions, arbitrates grievances, and defends management against a variety of claims before the National Labor Relations Board and Department of Justice and in state and federal courts. He also represents employers who seek to maintain a non-unionized workforce by counseling management on union avoidance strategies and by providing training and advice to management and supervisors. His clients include numerous municipalities throughout Oklahoma and companies engaged in the manufacturing and distribution, construction, energy, public utility, technology and business services industries.

Charlie currently serves as leader of the firm’s Labor and Employment Group, one of the largest of its kind in the region. He is a member of the American Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section and the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Labor Council. He is also the designated representative of McAfee & Taft as the exclusive member firm representing Oklahoma in the Employers Counsel Network, a nationwide affiliation of leading law firms providing legal assistance and representation to employers.

Charlie is a frequent speaker on labor and employment issues before state, regional and national audiences, has been interviewed by local and national media on a variety of state and federal employment law matters, and has been a guest legal columnist and contributing author to numerous business and professional publications, including The Oklahoman, The Journal Record, HRlaws.com, and EmployerLINC, a legal blog dedicated to employers and workplace issues. He is also co-editor of the Oklahoma Employment Law Letter, a monthly review of new court decisions, regulations and laws that affect state employers, as well as co-editor for the Oklahoma section of the annual guidebook for employers and human resources professionals, 50 Employment Laws in 50 States.

Charlie’s achievements have earned him inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America (employment law – management; labor law – management; labor and employment litigation), Oklahoma Super Lawyers (“Top 50 Oklahoma Lawyers”),Benchmark Litigation and Chambers USA Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, where he has been lauded as “an impressive public speaker who utilizes his vast experience to effectively defend clients.” Researchers at Chambers & Partners also quoted market observers as admiring him for his “practicality of advice and specialized knowledge of complex legal issues,” with sources commenting that he “immediately commands respect, is always up to date and knows how to handle a problem.” He was named by Best Lawyers  as the “Tulsa Labor and Employment Litigation Lawyer of the Year” in 2012 and “Tulsa Labor Lawyer of the Year (Management)” in 2014, honors only given to a single lawyer in each legal specialty in each community.


Susie Santo
President and CEO, Visit Wichita 

Susie Santo joined the Visit Wichita team in the summer of 2012, as the President and CEO. She has quickly made an impact on the Wichita travel and tourism industry and the community. In 2014, she led the initiative to create the state’s first Tourism Business Improvement District.  The new funding source will be utilized to market Wichita at unprecedented levels. In addition, she led the research driven community wide process to help identify and communicate the Wichita brand. 

Susie currently serves on many local, state and national boards including:  The Wichita Chamber of Commerce, Wichita Downtown Development Corporation, Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission, Wichita Transit Advisory Board, Travel Industry Association of Kansas, the US Travel Board, the US Travel Destination Council and the Destination Marketing Association International Foundation Board.  She previously served as the Board Chair of the California Travel Association.  

Prior to joining Visit Wichita, Susie had a successful 19-year career with Universal Studios Hollywood where she held numerous positions in operations, brand marketing, product development and sales.  

Susie is a graduate of The University of Kansas and a former college athlete.  Susie is married to Frank and they have a 7 year old daughter, Sophia.
