Mental Health First Aid is the initial help given to a person showing symptoms of mental illness or in a mental health crisis until appropriate professional or other help can be reached. Early prevention and/or detection could prevent a more serious illness or even a suicide. This one-day course offered by CMHA-CEI prepares members of the public to provide Mental Health First Aid to those in need. Cost: $25 (scholarships available).
