American Foundry Society NEW Chapter

78th Annual Wisconsin Regional Foundry Conference and Exposition
Date/Time
2/10/2016 - 2/12/2016
Event Description
"Increase your Odds for Success"

Potawatomi Hotel and Casino, Milwaukee, WI

In keeping with our tradition of providing “educational, professional, and social activities designed to strengthen and promote the local metalcasting industry today and for the future,” we have put together an excellent program at an exciting venue for this 78th annual gathering of foundry professionals.  We know your time is valuable.  The Wisconsin Regional will provide you with an outstanding opportunity to “increase your ODDS of success” through networking, attending technical sessions, listening to featured speakers, visiting with exhibitors, and enjoying fellowship with colleagues.

In conjunction with the Regional, seven institutions will be competing in the 3rd Annual Wisconsin Regional Invitational Casting Competition.  Entrants will have booths in the Expo hall where students will be displaying their castings and the processes used to produce them.  Please come and engage with students who are pursuing their educations and potential careers in the foundry industry.

This year we have partnered with The AFS Institute to run Wednesday (a.m. & p.m.) half-day educational courses on the following topics: Identifying the Correct Casting Defect, Introduction to Alloys, Introduction to Coreless Induction Furnace Operation.  Please inform those in your company who would benefit from these courses.

The new venue for the Wisconsin Regional is the exciting Potawatomi Hotel & Casino.  Near downtown Milwaukee, Potawatomi has a new 381-room hotel, large Expo hall, seven restaurants, free covered parking, state-of-the-art tech session rooms, and casino with slots and table games.

As you can see there is much in store for all foundry people at the 78th Wisconsin Regional.  Please join us in Milwaukee and “Increase Your ODDS of Success!”
