Why is it that many of us spend more time and energy on our cars, homes, careers, family and yes, even our vacations than we do on ourselves? We need a healthy mind, body and spirit to not only enjoy the fruits of our life’s work, but to continue to do our work.

So why don’t we? There’s a variety of reasons including we’ve been brainwashed into putting everyone else’s needs before our own; we’ve taken on more and more responsibilities in life and because we’ve not made doing things for ourselves a priority.

Competency: Personal/Interpersonal Competencies
Sub-Category: Supports self and others in pursuit of a balanced lifestyle
