We do all we can to develop and cultivate skills in our children. Technology can be a great instrument to achieving this, utilizing it in ways that bring about a balance of both online and real world competencies.  But what exactly are the benefits of using technology in educating and entertaining children?  What tools bring about a variety of technological and physical skills?  And how do we maximize that balance?
