Why do Evaluations?  Why are they important?  Cathy Hakala-Ausperk  will discuss how evaluations fit into effective coaching, discipline and performances.  Robin Wood will follow with a conversation about 3600 evalluations.  We will conclude the day with talking about the role of self evaluation in career development.

If you have ever considered implementing 360 degree evaluations in your library or even just wondered what they are and how they work, then this session is for you!  Cleveland Public Library’s Main Team Manager Robin Wood will provide you with a basic overview of 360 degree evaluations and help you determine if they are right for you and your organization.  In this interactive workshop Robin will discuss what 360 degree evaluations are, how they work, why the majority of Fortune 500 companies use them, why you might want to consider implementing them in your organization and why you might want to avoid them completely!
