What is EMV?  Why EMV in the United States now?  How does EMV work?  The NWAFP presents Richard Frye of Elavon to share the answer to these questions and how a merchant can prepare for the new standard.

Richard Frye works as a Payments Sales Consultant for US Bank/Elavon.  In his role in Large Client Business Development, he maintains offices in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR supporting the Commercial Bank.  Richard is a seasoned payment professional with over 18 years of industry experience.  Prior to 8 years with US Bank/Elavon, he served in sales management, product management, and other leadership roles with both Wells Fargo/FirstData and Chase Paymentech.  A long-time Pacific NW resident, Richard focuses on the regional needs of NW businesses and vertical markets, translating the fast pace of national industry trends to the local environment.

The meeting and lunch are included in the annual membership.  All Corporate Practitioners Members and Financial Services Providers Members with Guest Privileges are eligible to bring a new one-time guest at no cost.  Both members and guests must register.  If the paid member cannot attend a meeting, a substitute may attend.  Non-members pay the guest price of $45.  Non-working students pay the student guest price of $15.  To register for this meeting, click below.
