A national festival of events will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the American Recorder Society, the 50th anniversary of the Denver Chapter and the 10th anniversary of the Recorder Music Center at Regis University. The events are hosted by Denver Recorder Society, American Recorder Society and Regis University. A workshop component will have coached playing sessions, masterclasses, and other educational opportunities. Faculty includes Paul Leenhouts, Clea Galhano, Tom Zajac, Mark Davenport, Vicki Boeckman, Hanneke van Proosdij, Anne Timberlake, Linda Lunbeck and Laura Kuhlman.

Other events planned are:
*A meeting of the National ARS Board of Directors in Denver.
*A gala festival dinner with the ARS Board and some of the other visitors.
*A reception and exhibit by the Recorder Music Center.
*A Friday evening concert by the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado (featuring soloist Paul Leenhouts).
*A Saturday evening festival faculty recital.
Most events will take place in the newly constructed facilities in Peter Claver Hall at
Regis University, including the university’s new 180-seat Recital Hall.
