Details

Baroque dance forms will be the focus in a series of four master classes for harpsichord and recorder players on Monday evenings in July. Participants will study characteristics of the dance and their influence on the performance of the music, and play dances both solo and collaboratively from throughout Europe including music of Couperin, Bach, Telemann and others. The last class will feature performances by class participants. Sessions are open to high school and college students, adults, and auditors.
