Lorraine received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)\ndegree in 2017. Her professional career includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and a\nMaster of Science degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing, with a focus as a Clinical Nurse\nSpecialist. She holds several certifications in the nursing and neuroscience specialties.\nLorraine has worked for years within the specialty of epilepsy. The focus has included the\nEpilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and other Neuroscience, Critical Care, Community Health, and\nMedical-Surgical nursing settings. Her roles have also included advanced practice nursing,\nclinical coordination, teaching programs, policy development, program development, and patient\nnavigation within various healthcare settings. Lorraine has presented at several local, regional,\nand national conferences. Those have included her collaboration with the Epilepsy Foundation\non several projects and as a former member of the Professional Advisory Board (PAB).\nCurrently, Dr. Lorraine has retired from her last employment but continues her services as a\nconsultant for various projects.
